We went to the park in our neighborhood (easy to walk to). Naturally I brought my camera and had some fun playing with my toy and taking pictures of the cutest girl in the world! (my daughter) She is just starting to walk which made for some cool shots.

PHENOMENAL trip!!  There were photo ops galore. The sunset was extremely pretty, I didn’t get to see the sunrise, I didn’t roll out of the sleeping bag early enough. The sunset made up for it.  There was plenty of hiking involved. but it was definitely worth it.   DR. Snyder (my photography professor) and the majority of the Houston side of studio 563 (Craig, Chip and Matthew McMichael), came on the trip.  Most of us studied under Dr. Snyder at HBU.  We just shot around for fun.  Haven’t got to do that in a while. Craig shot with his hasselblad, can’t wait to see those. The drive there was pretty long.  I can’t complain though,  Chip and Craig did all of the driving, (thanks guys). The first night, it just poured, not ideal for camping. The rest of the trip was there was great weather. Frankly, my words don’t do the trip justice. That was a major plus getting to go.

The balanced rock

We stopped at a close by cemetery

Some of the panoramic pics taken.  Of that nice looking horizon.
